Last Troops Leave Afghanistan
The last of the remaining German troops have left Afghanistan after nearly 20 years of deployment in the war-torn country, Defence Minister said Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer.
The German Defence Minister said in a tweet that the last Bundeswehr soldiers "left Afghanistan safely" on Tuesday evening, reports TOLO News.
She thanked the more than 150,000 troops who have served there since 2001 and said that "they can be proud of this mission".
Germany maintained a contingent of around 1,100 troops before starting the drawdown in May.
The country deployed its forces in the wake of the deadly 9/11 attacks in 2001, according to a DW News report.
The first troops arrived in Kabul in January 2002.
Over 150,000 German soldiers have been stationed in Afghanistan since the report added.
Since US President Joe Biden's announcement of the pullout of troops on May 1, the American military has completed more than half of the withdrawal.

Rani Sukadei(1686 A.D. - 1726 A.D.) was an Indian warrior queen of the princely state of Banki, Odisha. She is known for her display of courage and bravery in the battles against Gajapati of Khurda and is regarded as the only undefeated warrior queen in Indian history.
After marrying the King of Banki Princess becomes the Queen of the princely state of Banki, Odisha. After their marriage, Royal Couple visited the Jagannath temple at Puri for the blessing of Lord Jagannath. when their on the way back to Banki, they were invited by the King of Khurda, Gajapati Gopinath Deva to his court. It is said that when the Raja and Rani paid a visit to Gajapati. Gajapati at Sukadei's first sight got attracted to her so much so that he planned an attack on Banki in order to woo her as soon as the King and Queen departed for Banki from Khurda.
Raja Dhananjay refused to accede his kingdom to Khurda on Gajapati's demand, thus decided to fight a war with the Gajapati. Now both the army is ready for war at the battleground of Ragadigrama. The Battle of Ragadigrama is ready to witness a history that was going to be created for the first time in Odisha History. The combined armies of Badamba and Banki fought with the army of Khurda. As the army of Khurda is huge in size after the combination of both the army. The Gajapati's army still outnumbered the combined armies of the defendants. Raja Dhananjay suffered huge losses at the hands of Gajapati. He was ultimately killed in the battle.
Now everyone is going to witness Rani Sukadei's Judgment, which she was supposed to give the next day. When everyone expected her to behead the Gajapati to seek revenge for her husband's death. Rani Sukadei surprised everyone when she came forward and forgave the Gajapati. She said that she being a widow knows the sufferings attached to the life of a widow, she would not let any other woman go through the same and thus let the Gajapati free. It is also said that because the Queen was an epitome of justice and peace, she forgave the Gajapati as she did not want to initiate a series of wars between Banki and Khurda that would continue for generations, only to seek vengeance, had she punished the Gajapati.
The Battle of Ragadigrama and wise Judgment has created another History in India. This made her the Indian Warrior Queen Rani Sukadei. Rani Sukadei dies at the middle age of her life in the year of 1726 A.D.

It was 26 Jan 1982 a mother gives birth to a brave boy Bomtaal village of Namchi Tehsil in South Sikkim. At a very young age, he lost his father. He and his sister Sangeeta was brought up by his uncle. He was very brave and always wants to serve the Nation as an Army. At the age of 19 on 31st March 2001 joined the Indian Army and was recruited into the Parachute Regiment, a regiment known for its gallant soldiers and daredevil operations. Later he was selected for the Special Forces and joined 9 Para(SF), the elite force of the Parachute Regiment. The name of this brave boy was Paratrooper Sanjog Chhetri AC of 9 Para (Special Forces).
During 2003 Para Sanjog Chhetri and 20 members of 9 Para (Special Forces) was deployed in Jammu and Kashmir. On 22nd April 2003 after getting information from the intelligence sources about the presence of some hardcore terrorists in the Hill Kaka area with proper analyzing the available inputs an Operation Sarp Vinash was planned by 9 Para(SF) to flush out the terrorists. Para Sanjog Chhetri and his 20 members got changes to carryout an Operation Sarp Vinash for neutralizing terrorists located at Hill Kaka in J&K.
The commandos approached the terrorist hideout and drew heavy automatic fire. Sensing danger for his fellow commandos, he assaulted the mountain hideout after crawling 100 yards. Ptr Sanjog Chhetri got wounded and started bleeding profusely. He did not budge from his spot and eliminated one more terrorist. By this time he had been shot multiple times and was seriously injured. But, he did not lose courage and took out his commando knife and engaged another terrorist in hand-to-hand combat, killing him too. However, Ptr Sanjog Chhetri succumbed to his injuries and was martyred. Ptr Sanjog Chhetri’s courage and sacrifice motivated his fellow commandos immensely, who eventually eliminated all the terrorists.
Paratrooper Sanjog Chhetri was the youngest Ashoka Chakra, India’s highest peacetime gallantry award. Paratrooper Sanjog Chhetri of 9 Para (SF) was 20years of old to received the Ashoka Chakra Award after his death by his Sister Sangeeta who laid down his life in Operation Sarp Vinash for his conspicuous courage, indomitable spirit, and supreme sacrifice.
